On this week’s episode of TCR Express, digital media editor Warren Frey talks to Journal of Commerce staff writer Russell Hixson about new developments regarding a meeting about the Sam Fitzpatrick case between high level British Columbia officials, BC Federation of Labour officials and friends of the Fitzpatrick family.

Russell is also working on a story about how Bill 22, B.C.’s new freedom of information bill, could affect the construction sector. Both the British Columbia Construction Association and the Independent Contractors and Businesses Association are opposing the bill.

Daily Commercial News staff writer Angela Gismondi also has a story about a recent ÌìÃÀÓ°Ôº Green Building Council virtual conference featuring Martin Sing the team lead for sustainability and energy for the Centre Block Rehabilitation project. Sing spoke about many factors involved in adapting ÌìÃÀӰԺ’s Parliament Building to improve sustainability and ensure carbon neutrality.
